recorded in the registers of Edinburgh Commissary Court, 22 October 1740

Item There was addebted and resting owing to the Said Umquhill Mr Charles Jervy the time foresaid of his decease the debts and sums of money underwritten To witt Imprimis By Mr John Stewart Minister of the Gospell at Cameron in Fife the sum of Fifty Eight pound Ster[ing] money principall Contained in a Bill drawen by the Defunct upon and accepted by him dated the Twenty Sixth of June JajvijC and Thirty five payable the first of August Jajvij and Thirty six Item V lib Xvi sh money for[e]s[ai]d of a[nnual] rent for the Said principall Sum from the said first of August Jajvij C and Thirty six To the first of August Jajvij C and Thirty Eight years the time of the said Defuncts decease Item more by the said Mr John Stewart the Sum of Fifty five pound[s] mony foresaid Supposed to have been remitted by the Defunct to him some time in the moneth of May June or July JajvijC & Thirty Eight years Extending the s[ai]ds Debts and sums of money In haill to the sum of one hundered and Eighteen pound Sixteen shillingssterl[ing] And in Scots money to one Thousand four hundred Twentyfive pound Twelve shilling
