The testament dative and Inventar of the goods geare soumes of moneyes and debts pertaining to vmq[uhi]ll Richard weir factor In Campheir in holland the tyme of his deceas who deceast in the month of februarij jajvjc~thriscor and sex yeares w[i]t[h]in the s[ai]d Citie of Campheir faithfullie maid and given upe be THomas weir eldest lau[fu]ll sone to the deefunct and only exe[cuto]r dative decerned as nearest of kine to him by dec[rei]t of the Comiss[a]rs of Ed[inbruch]t as the samyn of the dait Att Ed[inbruch]t the fyfteint day of september jajvjc~thriscor ayn years in it self proports

In the first the s[ai]d vmq[uhi]ll Richard weir had Addebtit and restand awand to him the tyme of his deceas fors[ai]d be the persons following the debts and soumes of money underwri[tti]n To witt be Walter Leishman mer[chan]t burges of Ed[inbruch]t And his cau[tione]r[is] the soume jajxxx l. fleyms at ane thousand and ten merks the hundred punds fleyms Inde in scots money 10403 merks as prin[cipa]ll w[i]t[h] and hundreth thriscor threttein merks for the bygone a[nnual] rent of the s[ai]d prin[cipa]ll soume preceiding the defuncts decease According to fyve merkes per cent Item be W[illia]m Smith mer[chan]t in dundie ane thousand ane hundreth thriscor fyfteine merks as prin[cipa]ll w[i]t[h] 47 merks for the bygone a[nnual] rent th[e]rof preceiding the tym fors[ai]d Item be the airs & exe[cuto]r[is] of the decast Ro[ber]t Earle of Roxburgh mr W[illia]m Bennit persone of Anchoram and Andrew Ker of shatto his cau[tione]r[is] the soume of jaj ijc~ L merkes as the fourth parte of the prin[cipa]ll soume of fyve thousand merkes contained in ane band granted be the foirnamed personnes to the deceast THomas weir peutherer burges of Ed[inbruch]t father to the s[ai]d vmq[uhi]ll Richard wherunto the defunct hes right as ane of the foure exe[cuto]r[is] non executa confirmed to him
