Three British service men were on board when she sank - Sub-Lieutenant Wilfred J Cond, Leading-signaller Victor A Habgood, and Leading-telegrapher Jack Barker
Operation Seagul - A British operation during the Second World War to destroy several Nazi-controlled industrial targets at Arendal, with the help of Kompani Linge agents from Norway.
On 28 February 1943 the submarine His Norwegian Majesty's Ship Uredd from Dundee was transporting the six-man team to Bodø when she hit a German minefield and sank, killing all 34 crew and the six special agents.
In 1986, King Olav V unveiled a memorial to those lost aboard the Uredd, located in Grensen.
