Lieutenant William Charles Renny
Tay Division Royal Engineers Voluntary Submarine Miners
who died at KRUGERSDORP South Africa on 16th August 1900
And of Non-Commissioned Officers and men
trained in the Division who in various Units
served and Fell in the South African War 1899 - 1902

The Memorial forms the bottom part of the Memorial to the men of the Church who served in the ‘Tay Division of the Royal Engineers Volunteer Submarine Miners’ which were formed in 1887 and disbanded in 1907 when that duty was transferred to the Royal Navy.
